Week 12Monday 16th March 2009 This morning we went to see a waterfall and then after an hour's drive we went to surf at the beach. Then we drove to Surfers Paradise. An enormous storm cloud came in so we left the beach.
Tuesday 17th March 2009 We visited the city of Brisbane. We first visited the city hall then we saw the oldest church in Queenland, then we swam at a man made beach in the city.
Wednesday 18th March 2009 We went to Australia Zoo this morning. We saw crocodiles being fed, tigers playing and swimming and I stroked the kangaroos.
Thursday 19th March 2009 We went on a bus and the bus went on a boat to Fraser Island. It was a real 4WD experience! We saw a big sea snake alive on the beach, three dingoes, a big ship wreck and lethal spider's nests. We went on a scenic flight over the island and then we swam in a crystal clear lake. It was a super day.
Friday 20th March 2009 We went to the river in Tin Can Bay to feed some dolphins. It was super, two dolphins came and ate fish from our hands. We spent the rest of the day driving north. We camped by a river.
Saturday 21st March 2009 We drove to a campsite by the beach. We swam in the pool all afternoon with children. Afterwards we went for a walk on the beach and found lots of shells. Sunday 22nd March 2009 We went rafting on inner tubes down a river then we went to Broken River to see platypuses.
