Week 13Monday 23rd March 2009 We went on a little walk to see two waterfalls. We swam and saw an eel and a snake in the water. After we went to a swimming pool and swam and played on games.
Tuesday 24th March 2009 We went on a boat all day. We went on an island with white sand. On another island we fed the fish and we saw two Napoleans.
Wednesday 25th March 2009 We bought stinger suits for everyone: I am not scared anymore! After we swam in a pool with sea water with our new stinger suits. Thursday 26th March 2009 We played at a playground and made friends with 5 sisters who are travelling for 1 year around Australia. After we went to a lovely river where we swam and slid down the rocks. I saw a baby echidna at lunch and a big frog in the toilet!
Friday 27th March 2009 We went on a little walk on the beach and found a lot of shells. After we swam in stinger nets with our stinger suits. After we drove to a waterfall and a river where we swam.
Saturday 28th March 2009 We went to Etty Bay to try to spot a cassowary. We were really lucky we saw two adults ones and a baby! In the afternoon we saw a curtain fig tree.
Sunday 29th March 2009 We saw a crater lake formed by volcanic gases. It was very deep and green. Next we saw 4 beautiful waterfalls and met 3 giant spiders! Afterwards we went to the Crystal Caves and saw the world's largest Amethyst geode. We cracked open a geode to take home with us.
