Gaelle's adventures |
Week 11Monday 7th March 2009 We went to a camping to go on a walk to see an arch carved by the sea. Afterwards we came back to the camping and saw a lot of wallabies.
Tuesday 10th March 2009 We went to Timbertown, a town from 1810. We saw some bullocks, big cows with horns, that pulled huge logs. The school house was tiny. I rang the school bell! There was also a steam train.
Wednesday 11th March 2009 We saw a prison. It was very old. Afterwards we went on a little walk along the river. There were some painted rocks. It was very pretty. On the way back it was raining!
Thursday 12th March 2009 We went on a 2 hour walk through the rainforest. There were lots of leeches on the path. We were worried they'd suck our blood. We were lucky to escape!
Friday 13th March 2009 We drove a lot and we arrived at a town called Grafton. We saw a lot of old buildings. Afterwards we drove to Evans Head and played with crabs on the beach. Saturday 14th March 2009 I went bodyboarding at the beach this morning. It was great fun! It rained a few drops at lunchtime but it cleared up in the afternoon, so we returned to the beach. Sunday 15th March 2009 We went on a walk at Byron Bay to see the cape and the lighthouse. On the way up we spotted dolphins in the bay. On the way down we saw a long snake. Then we played at the beach.
