Week 5

Monday 26th January 2009

We went in a beautiful lagoonn on Phi Phi Le island. There were a lot of people on the beach. We swam in the beautiful clear waters of the bay.

Tuesday 27th January 2009

We went to a beach. After we went back to the marina. We took the boat out of the water. We spent the afternoon in the swimming pool. I made a friend called Ruby.

Wednesday 28th January 2009

We got up very early and Francis took us to the airport and he gave a cuddly toy to Sophie and me! We flew back to Bangkok where we spent the afternoon strolling in the little streets. Tonight we take the night train to Chiang Mai.

Thursday 29th January 2009

We arrived in Chaing Mai. After we saw some temples. There were buddhas and today it was the funeral ceremony of a monk who died aged 97.

Friday 30th January 2009

We rode on an elephant's back in the jungle. Afterwards we went to a tiger zoo and I cuddled a baby tiger.

Saturday 31st January 2009

We walked up 306 steps to see a very pretty temple. After we saw the palace of the king. Then we went to a little village of the tribe called Hmong.

Sunday 1st February 2009

We went to the zoo. We saw hippopotamuses, koalas, giraffes, emus and pandas. We saw a seeal show and a parrot show. I loved the most the koalas!
