Week 2Monday 5th January 2009 We visited Petra and saw very big tombs dug in the rocks. After we searched for a new hotel.
Tuesday 6th January 2009 We walked through a tunnel and gorge in Petra and we saw an animal's skull. We walked up to the monastery. Afterwards we rode a donkey and a horse back because we were very tired.
Wednesday 7th January 2009 We went to visit a castle at Shobak. We wennt down a well and we came out on the road below the castle. There were 365 steps. A car picked us up on the road and took us back up the hill. In the evening we flew to Bangkok.
Thursday 8th January 2009 We arrived in Thailand. We swam in the pool and then ate Thai food in a restaurant with chopsticks !
Friday 9th January 2009 Bangkok: We saw lots of buddhas. There was a very big one, the reclining buddha. We saw a sparkling temple for the king.and in the evening we swam again at the hotel.
Sunday 11 January 2009 Angkor, Cambodia: We went to see very old temples in the jungle. We saw some monkeys. I gave one a banana, but he did not want it ! It was a tuk-tuk that took us around all day.
