Week 17Monday 20th April 2009 We first went to a lookout in Farino. There was an exhibition on flying foxes. Then we went to see on old prison, we climbed up the tower. Then we went to see a rock which looked like a man.
Tuesday 21st April 2009 We walked to see the pretty Voh heart. It's a heart drawn in the mangrove visable from the air. Then we drove to Hienghène.
Wednesday 22nd April 2009 We changed bungalow because there were cockroaches. Then we went to the waterfall in Tao. We swam and gave some bread to the fish. Then we went kayaking. We saw an live snake called a Tricot Rayé.
Thursday 23rd April 2009 We drove back to Noumea. On the way we stopped at Bâ waterfall. We celebrated Juliette's birthday over dinner: she was 9 years old.
Friday 24th April 2009 We took a plane to Papeete. We left on Friday at 9 o'clock and travelled back in time to arrive on Thursday at 17:00. Isn't that amazing!
Friday 24th April 2009 (again!) We went to the hotel's pool: it was very pretty with a waterfall. Then we went to the pearl museum where there was a large collection of big and beautiful pearls.
Saturday 25th April 2009 We saw a very pretty church made of stones, a marae (an old castle) in ruins and some caves. We also went to the beach. I made friends with a Tahitian girl. In the evening we flew to Moorea: it took 5 minutes!
Sunday 26th April 2009 We saw two Marae and Mummy found some carved stones. Then we saw two waterfalls where we swam and saw some eels. Then we went to the beach.
